The Cambridge & Oxford Society Shanghai provides a forum for Cambridge and Oxford alumni to meet and network in Shanghai, and for visitors from Cambridge and Oxford Universities to meet with those alumni. An Introduction to Wine

Ever find yourself mixing your Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc? Think that Dynasty with ice is an acceptable solution to the summer heat? Have no fear because together with Torres, China’s second largest wine supplier, we are going to take you through the basics of wine. During the two hour ‘tute’ at the Torres tasting room we’ll have the chance to try a whole range of wines with expert advice from their Sommelier and also the guest star of the Head of their Chilean winery. Nibbles, education and all wines will be provided for 100rmb. The Class is conducted in both English and Chinese. Look out for advanced wine tasting later in 2008.
